Capital Region Service Commission’s Board of Directors approved the 2023 annual operating budget with tipping fees for regular garbage moving from $99 to $102 a metric tonne at its Solid Waste Division

All other fees will remain unchanged, and material being deposited at the recycling facility will continue to be received at no charge.
– Regular Garbage – $102 / metric tonne
– Construction & Demolition – $42.50/metric tonne
– Tires – $100/metric tonne
– CFC Disposal – $32 + taxes per unit ($36.80)
– Asbestos – $140.00/cubic metre with a minimum charge of $750.00
